I can understand many people are eagerly awaiting their pottermore email still. I have been one of the lucky few to get in relatively early and can only imagine how hard it must be to continue to wait. but it seems highly unlikely that the pottermore team will get all 600,000 welcome emails out in the next two weeks. this makes me think that the site will not in fact open on october 1st. all we have been told is it opens in october. so that could mean the 5th, 17th, or even the 31st. so i want to give hope to all those still waiting. you will get in early! and you will get your email by september 30th. this much we know is true. personally, i do not think they will only let you in 1 day before everyone else. in fact, i believe the site will open to all on october 31st as this is quite a momentous day in the harry potter books. so to all those still waiting, you will most likely have a month of exploring pottermore before millions of others.
I am a Slytherin in Pottermore! I am so ecstatic! Everyone is helping each other and there hasn’t been one bad word said in the common room. I love how we are completely breaking the stereotype that we are all horrible people. I had never really associated with any of the houses while I was reading the Harry Potter series. I am kind, brave, and intelligent but I still didn’t feel apart of Gryffindor, Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff. I was always a little afraid of associating myself with Slytherin because that house had a huge negative connotation to it in the books. Now, though, I am so glad I was placed in Slytherin. I truly belong there. Slytherin is a family and they look out for their own. I have already heard Gryffindors have split but us Slytherins are still together. Heroes and villians came from every house in the books so don’t be stereotypical towards Slytherins and if you are placed there, you will love it!
